Maunsell China Infrastructure Group

Maunsell's services for the infrastructure development in Mainland China dated back in 1982 when we undertook the design of the expressway from Beijing - Tianjin - Tanggu, and the master transport planning for Lujiaju. Later we carried out the design check for the Shenzhen Metro Line No.1 and the Chongming Tunnel in Shanghai. Up to now, Maunsell has undertaken numerous infrastructure projects in China. The more recent ones include the urban metro projects in Shanghai, Nanjing, Shenzhen, Beijing, Wuhan and Guangzhou.

Maunsell's China Infrastructure Group operates in two major offices in Shenzhen (which looks after projects in South China) and Shanghai (for projects in East China). We also have a number of smaller project offices in Beijing, Chongqing, Zhuhai and Zhongshan to serve specific projects. Maunsell also operates three joint venture companies in Mainland China, one in Shanghai and two in Nanjing.

We provide services on feasibility study, design and project management on highways, bridges, tunnels, metro/ transit, maritime, transportation planning and urban and new town planning and development.
