From 1973 up to now, Maunsell has successfully carried out the planninig, design and construction supervision for the new town development in Shatin, Ma On Shan, Tai Po, Fanling, Sheung Shui and Tsueng Kwan O. These new towns are now home for more than a million people and become a distinctive characteristic in the overall development history of Hong Kong. More recently, Maunsell has completed the design and construction supervision for the government infrastructure in Penny's Bay for the HK Disneyland Theme Park, and is carrying out the planning study for the South East Kowloon development. |
